‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? ¹  He is not the God of the dead but of the living!” ² 

Now as for the dead being raised, ¹  have you not read in the book of Moses, in the passage about the bush, ²  how God said to him, ‘I am the God of Abraham, the ³  God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? ⁴ 

But God raised ¹  him from the dead,

Now may the God of peace be with all of you. Amen. ¹ 

And this is what we intend to do, ¹  if God permits.

For our God is indeed a devouring fire. ¹ 

‘I am the God of your forefathers, ¹  the God of Abraham, Isaac, ²  and Jacob.’ ³  Moses began to tremble and did not dare to look more closely. ⁴ 

Blessed is ¹  the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,

You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness. So God, your God, has anointed you over your companions ¹  with the oil of rejoicing.” ² 

But as it is, ¹  they aspire to a better land, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore, God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

He is not the God of the dead but of the living. ¹  You are badly mistaken!”

Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living, ¹  for all live before him.” ² 

The one who has accepted his testimony has confirmed clearly that God is truthful. ¹ 

If God is glorified in him, ¹  God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him right away. ² 

Thomas replied to him, ¹  “My Lord and my God!” ² 

This Jesus God raised up, and we are all witnesses of it. ¹ 

From the descendants ¹  of this man ²  God brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, just as he promised. ³ 

but the one ¹  whom God raised up did not experience ²  decay.
