For this reason that field has been called the “Field of Blood” to this day.

He himself was not the light, but he came to testify ¹  about the light.

But Jesus ¹  was speaking about the temple of his body. ² 

If ¹  you believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me.

They said ¹  to him, “Where is that man?” ²  He replied, ³  “I don’t know.”

The man ¹  replied, ²  “And who is he, sir, that ³  I may believe in him?”

Judas ¹  took the piece of bread and went out immediately. (Now it was night.) ² 

And when he ¹  comes, he will prove the world wrong ²  concerning sin and ³  righteousness and ⁴  judgment –

He ¹  will glorify me, ²  because he will receive ³  from me what is mine ⁴  and will tell it to you. ⁵ 

If we are unfaithful, he remains faithful, since he cannot deny himself. ¹ 

For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord,

The one who says he resides ¹  in God ²  ought himself to walk ³  just as Jesus ⁴  walked.

Blessed is that slave whom the master finds at work ¹  when he comes.

But if ¹  that evil slave should say to himself, ²  ‘My master is staying away a long time,’

and said, “Sir, we remember that while that deceiver was still alive he said, ‘After three days I will rise again.’

Blessed is that slave ¹  whom his master finds at work ²  when he returns.

No one has ever seen God. The only one, ¹  himself God, who is in closest fellowship with ²  the Father, has made God ³  known. ⁴ 

So the Jewish leaders ¹  were looking for him at the feast, asking, “Where is he?” ² 

Jesus told him, “You have seen him; he ¹  is the one speaking with you.” ² 

Then the disciple whom Jesus loved ¹  leaned back against Jesus’ chest and asked him, “Lord, who is it?”
