So there was ¹  great joy ²  in that city.

I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom ¹  than for that town! ² 

But they went out and spread the news about him throughout that entire region. ¹ 

If ¹  a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom will not be able to stand.

If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.

She went out and told those who were with him, while they were mourning and weeping.

So when Mary ¹  heard this, she got up quickly and went to him.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, no one would have looked for a second one. ¹ 

I tell you the truth, ¹  it will be more bearable for the region of Sodom and Gomorrah ²  on the day of judgment than for that town!

On that day after Jesus went out of the house, he sat by the lake.

The same day Sadducees ¹  (who say there is no resurrection) ²  came to him and asked him, ³ 

But the days are coming when the bridegroom will be taken from them, ¹  and at that time ²  they will fast.

On that day, when evening came, Jesus ¹  said to his disciples, “Let’s go across to the other side of the lake.” ² 

Now by chance ¹  a priest was going down that road, but ²  when he saw the injured man ³  he passed by ⁴  on the other side. ⁵ 

Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She ¹  turned and said to him in Aramaic, ²  “Rabboni” ³  (which means Teacher). ⁴ 

So those who accepted ¹  his message ²  were baptized, and that day about three thousand people ³  were added. ⁴ 

Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; just as you believed, it will be done for you.” And the servant ¹  was healed at that hour.

Whenever ¹  they hand you over for trial, do not worry about how to speak or what to say, ²  for what you should say will be given to you at that time. ³ 

At that time the disciples came to Jesus saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”

At that very time ¹  Jesus ²  cured many people of diseases, sicknesses, ³  and evil spirits, and granted ⁴  sight to many who were blind.
