You have become cruel to me; ¹  with the strength of your hand you attack me. ² 

Abraham and his son Ishmael were circumcised on the very same day.

Then the Lord said to Moses that same day,

“One man dies in his full vigor, ¹  completely secure and prosperous,

Indeed, ¹  any person who does not behave with humility on this particular day will be cut off from his people. ² 

They ate some of the produce of the land the day after the Passover, including unleavened bread and roasted grain. ¹ 

On that very day Noah entered the ark, accompanied by his sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, along with his wife and his sons’ three wives. ¹ 

At the end of the 430 years, on the very day, all the regiments ¹  of the Lord went out of the land of Egypt.

And on this very day the Lord brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt by their regiments.

“‘On this very day you must proclaim an assembly; it is to be a holy assembly for you. ¹  You must not do any regular work. This is a perpetual statute in all the places where you live throughout your generations. ² 

You must not do any work on this particular day, ¹  because it is a day of atonement to make atonement for yourselves ²  before the Lord your God.

As for any person ¹  who does any work on this particular day, I will exterminate ²  that person from the midst of his people! ³ 

And whoever touches the body of someone killed with a sword in the open fields, ¹  or the body of someone who died of natural causes, ²  or a human bone, or a grave, will be unclean seven days. ³ 

Abraham took his son Ishmael and every male in his household (whether born in his house or bought with money) ¹  and circumcised them ²  on that very same day, just as God had told him to do.

So you will keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread, because on this very ¹  day I brought your regiments ²  out from the land of Egypt, and so you must keep this day perpetually as a lasting ordinance. ³ 

Then a ceremonially clean person must take hyssop, dip it in the water, and sprinkle it on the tent, on all its furnishings, and on the people who were there, or on the one who touched a bone, or one killed, or one who died, or a grave.

“Son of man, write down the name of this day, this very day. The king of Babylon has laid siege ¹  to Jerusalem ²  this very day.

In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, at the beginning of the year, on the tenth day of the month, in the fourteenth year after the city ¹  was struck down, on this very day, ²  the hand ³  of the Lord was on me, and he brought me there. ⁴
