Two things ¹  I ask from you; ²  do not refuse me before I die:

You are the reason I offer praise ¹  in the great assembly; I will fulfill my promises before the Lord’s loyal followers. ² 

Now I’d like to ask you for just one thing. Please don’t refuse me.” ¹  She said, “Go ahead and ask.” ² 

Elijah ¹  replied, “That’s a difficult request! ²  If you see me taken from you, may it be so, but if you don’t, it will not happen.”

Even if the mountains are removed and the hills displaced, my devotion will not be removed from you, nor will my covenant of friendship ¹  be displaced,” says the Lord, the one who has compassion on you.
