פ (Pe) Your rules are marvelous. Therefore I observe them.

You are the God who does amazing things; you have revealed your strength among the nations.

He did amazing things in the sight of their ancestors, in the land of Egypt, in the region of Zoan. ¹ 

Are your amazing deeds experienced ¹  in the dark region, ²  or your deliverance in the land of oblivion? ³ 

Who is like you, ¹  O Lord, among the gods? ²  Who is like you? – majestic in holiness, fearful in praises, ³  working wonders?

I will remember the works of the Lord. Yes, I will remember the amazing things you did long ago! ¹ 

Do you accomplish amazing things for the dead? Do the departed spirits ¹  rise up and give you thanks? (Selah)

O Lord, the heavens ¹  praise your amazing deeds, as well as your faithfulness in the angelic assembly. ² 

One said to the man clothed in linen who was above the waters of the river, “When will the end of these wondrous events occur?”

O Lord, you are my God! ¹  I will exalt you in praise, I will extol your fame. ²  For you have done extraordinary things, and executed plans made long ago exactly as you decreed. ³ 

Therefore I will again do an amazing thing for these people – an absolutely extraordinary deed. ¹  Wise men will have nothing to say, the sages will have no explanations.” ² 

ט (Tet) Her menstrual flow ¹  has soiled ²  her clothing; ³  she did not consider ⁴  the consequences of her sin. ⁵  Her demise ⁶  was astonishing, ⁷  and there was no one to comfort her. She cried, “Look, ⁸  O Lord, on my ⁹  affliction because my enemy boasts!”

For a child has been ¹  born to us, a son has been given to us. He shoulders responsibility and is called: ²  Extraordinary Strategist, ³  Mighty God, ⁴  Everlasting Father, ⁵  Prince of Peace. ⁶
