Day after day it speaks out; ¹  night after night it reveals his greatness. ² 

Here is a message about Dumah: ¹  Someone calls to me from Seir, ²  “Watchman, what is left of the night? Watchman, what is left of the night?” ³ 

They meet with darkness in the daytime, ¹  and grope about ²  in the noontime as if it were night. ³ 

Terrors overwhelm him like a flood; ¹  at night a whirlwind carries him off.

Do not long for the cover of night to drag people away from their homes. ¹

Now the Lord was going before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them in the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, ¹  so that they could ²  travel day or night. ³ 

Here is a message about Moab: Indeed, in a night it is devastated, Ar of Moab is destroyed! Indeed, in a night it is devastated, Kir of Moab is destroyed!

And when the dew came down ¹  on the camp in the night, the manna fell ²  with it.)
