When ¹  some of the bystanders heard it, they said, “This man is calling for Elijah.”

When some of the bystanders heard it they said, “Listen, he is calling for Elijah!” ¹ 

Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.” So ¹  they called the blind man and said to him, “Have courage! Get up! He is calling you.”

The doorkeeper ¹  opens the door ²  for him, ³  and the sheep hear his voice. He ⁴  calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. ⁵ 

And when she had said this, Martha ¹  went and called her sister Mary, saying privately, ²  “The Teacher is here and is asking for you.” ³ 

When ¹  the head steward tasted the water that had been turned to wine, not knowing where it came from ²  (though the servants who had drawn the water knew), he ³  called the bridegroom

He ¹  said also to the man ²  who had invited him, “When you host a dinner or a banquet, ³  don’t invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors so you can be invited by them in return and get repaid.
