But Jesus gently took his hand and raised him to his feet, and he stood up.

until another king who did not know about ¹  Joseph ruled ²  over Egypt. ³ 

And if Satan rises against himself and is divided, he is not able to stand and his end has come.

The girl got up at once and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). They were completely astonished at this. ¹ 

Her ¹  spirit returned, ²  and she got up immediately. Then ³  he told them to give her something to eat.

while others were saying that Elijah ¹  had appeared, and still others that one of the prophets of long ago had risen. ² 

So the king got up, and with him the governor and Bernice and those sitting with them,

They ¹  answered, ²  “John the Baptist; others say Elijah; ³  and still others that one of the prophets of long ago has risen.” ⁴ 

Now ¹  an expert in religious law ²  stood up to test Jesus, ³  saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” ⁴ 

Peter ¹  said to him, “Aeneas, Jesus the Christ ²  heals you. Get up and make your own bed!” ³  And immediately he got up.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, so also we believe that ¹  God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep as Christians. ² 

Now ¹  Jesus ²  came to Nazareth, ³  where he had been brought up, and went into the synagogue ⁴  on the Sabbath day, as was his custom. ⁵  He ⁶  stood up to read, ⁷ 

Then the people ¹  who were with Mary ²  in the house consoling her saw her ³  get up quickly and go out. They followed her, because they thought she was going to the tomb to weep ⁴  there.

For some time ago ¹  Theudas rose up, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men joined him. He ²  was killed, and all who followed him were dispersed and nothing came of it. ³ 

After him Judas the Galilean arose in the days of the census, ¹  and incited people to follow him in revolt. ²  He too was killed, and all who followed him were scattered.
