They left their nets immediately and followed him. ¹ 

Immediately Jesus ¹  sent the man ²  away with a very strong warning.

The girl got up at once and began to walk around (she was twelve years old). They were completely astonished at this. ¹ 

The Spirit immediately drove him into the wilderness.

Then ¹  they went to Capernaum. ²  When the Sabbath came, ³  Jesus ⁴  went into the synagogue ⁵  and began to teach.

Just then there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit, ¹  and he cried out, ² 

So ¹  the news about him spread quickly throughout all the region around Galilee.

Simon’s mother-in-law was lying down, sick with a fever, so ¹  they spoke to Jesus ²  at once about her.

The leprosy left him at once, and he was clean.

So ¹  the king sent an executioner at once to bring John’s ²  head, and he went and beheaded John in prison.

As they got out of the boat, people immediately recognized Jesus. ¹ 

When Judas ¹  arrived, he went up to Jesus ²  immediately and said, “Rabbi!” and kissed ³  him.

Judas ¹  took the piece of bread and went out immediately. (Now it was night.) ² 

If God is glorified in him, ¹  God will also glorify him in himself, and he will glorify him right away. ² 

This happened three times, and immediately the object was taken up into heaven. ¹ 

But immediately Jesus ¹  spoke to them: ²  “Have courage! It is I. Do not be afraid.”

the voice of one shouting in the wilderness, ‘Prepare the way for the Lord, make ¹  his paths straight.’” ² 

Now ¹  as soon as they left the synagogue, ²  they entered Simon and Andrew’s house, with James and John.

So ¹  the Pharisees ²  went out immediately and began plotting with the Herodians, ³  as to how they could assassinate ⁴  him.

And when the grain is ripe, he sends in the sickle ¹  because the harvest has come.” ²
