Do not leave this place until I come back ¹  with a gift ²  and present it to you.” The Lord said, “I will stay here until you come back.”

Now let this present ¹  that your servant has brought to my lord be given to the servants who follow ²  my lord.

Then the king said to Amasa, “Call the men of Judah together for me in three days, ¹  and you be present here with them too.”

The king then said to the prophet, “Come home with me and have something to eat. I’d like to give a present.”

They reserved the burnt offerings and the cattle for the family divisions of the people to present to the Lord, as prescribed in the scroll of Moses. ¹ 

So the Israelites who were present observed the Passover at that time, as well as the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days.

Now the day came when ²  the sons of God ³  came to present themselves before ⁴  the Lord – and Satan ⁵  also arrived among them.

Lord, in the morning ¹  you will hear ²  me; ³  in the morning I will present my case to you ⁴  and then wait expectantly for an answer. ⁵ 

Listen to me, O Jacob, Israel, whom I summoned! I am the one; I am present at the very beginning and at the very end. ¹ 

You will present them before the Lord, and the priests will scatter salt on them ¹  and offer them up as a burnt offering to the Lord.

leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother and then come and present your gift.

He also asked, “To what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable can we use to present it?

Now ¹  when the time came for their ²  purification according to the law of Moses, Joseph and Mary ³  brought Jesus ⁴  up to Jerusalem ⁵  to present him to the Lord

You hypocrites! ¹  You know how to interpret the appearance of the earth and the sky, but how can you not know how ²  to interpret the present time?

Now ¹  there were some present on that occasion who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mixed with their sacrifices. ² 

So they prepared a dinner for Jesus ¹  there. Martha ²  was serving, and Lazarus was among those present at the table ³  with him.

For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor heavenly rulers, ¹  nor things that are present, nor things to come, nor powers,

whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or the present or the future. Everything belongs to you,

those who use the world as though they were not using it to the full. For the present shape of this world is passing away.
