For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink.

When ¹  she poured this oil on my body, she did it to prepare me for burial.

And while they were eating he said, “I tell you the truth, ¹  one of you will betray me.” ² 

He swore to her, ¹  “Whatever you ask I will give you, up to half my kingdom.” ² 

Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? ¹  No one is good except God alone.

Many scolded ¹  him to get him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

Jesus said to them, “Have you come with swords and clubs to arrest me like you would an outlaw? ¹ 

because a friend of mine has stopped here while on a journey, ¹  and I have nothing to set before ²  him.’

But Jesus ¹  said to him, “Man, ²  who made me a judge or arbitrator between you two?” ³ 

Nevertheless I must ¹  go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, because it is impossible ²  that a prophet should be killed ³  outside Jerusalem.’ ⁴ 

I am no longer worthy to be called your son; treat me ¹  like one of your hired workers.”’

I know ¹  what to do so that when I am put out of management, people will welcome me into their homes.’ ² 

Jesus ¹  said to him, “Why do you call me good? ²  No one is good except God alone.

And he said to them, “I have earnestly desired ¹  to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.

Jesus replied, ¹  “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow ²  today until you have denied ³  three times that you know me.”

His disciples remembered that it was written, “Zeal ¹  for your house will devour me.” ² 

Then Jesus said, “I will be with you for only a little while longer, ¹  and then ²  I am going to the one who sent me.

I testify about myself ¹  and the Father who sent me testifies about me.”

Who among you can prove me guilty ¹  of any sin? ²  If I am telling you ³  the truth, why don’t you believe me?

Jesus answered, “I am not possessed by a demon, ¹  but I honor my Father – and yet ²  you dishonor me.
