But if I do what I don’t want, I agree that the law is good. ¹ 

For this reason Christ died and returned to life, so that he may be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

For if I do this voluntarily, I have a reward. But if I do it unwillingly, I am entrusted with a responsibility.

For this reason a woman should have a symbol of authority ¹  on her head, because of the angels. ² 

That is why many of you are weak and sick, and quite a few are dead. ¹ 

So ¹  I made up my own mind ²  not to pay you another painful visit. ³ 

Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as God has shown us mercy, ¹  we do not become discouraged. ² 

They requested ¹  only that we remember the poor, the very thing I also was eager to do.

For this reason do not be foolish, but be wise ¹  by understanding ²  what the Lord’s will is.

Children, ¹  obey your parents in the Lord ²  for this is right.

You should have the same attitude toward one another that Christ Jesus had, ¹ 

I say this so that no one will deceive you through arguments ¹  that sound reasonable. ² 

in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.

Such prayer for all ¹  is good and welcomed before God our Savior,

But understand this, that in the last days difficult ¹  times will come.

For perhaps it was for this reason that he was separated from you for a little while, so that you would have him back eternally, ¹ 

Now if he has defrauded you of anything or owes you anything, charge what he owes ¹  to me.

Therefore we must pay closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away.

and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that God has commanded you to keep.” ¹ 

And just as people ¹  are appointed to die once, and then to face judgment, ²
