Job’s Good Life1:1 There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job. And that man was pure and upright, one who feared God and turned away from evil.
2:9 Then his wife said to him, “Are you still holding firmly to your integrity? Curse God, and die!”
12:4 I am a laughingstock to my friends,
I, who called on God and whom he answered –
a righteous and blameless man
is a laughingstock!
24:12 From the city the dying groan,
and the wounded cry out for help,
but God charges no one with wrongdoing.
34:10 “Therefore, listen to me, you men of understanding.
Far be it from God to do wickedness,
from the Almighty to do evil.
