Genesis 1:10

1:10 God called the dry ground “land” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” God saw that it was good.

Genesis 4:5

14:18 Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. (Now he was the priest of the Most High God.) 14:19 He blessed Abram, saying,

21:30 He replied, “You must take these seven ewe lambs from my hand as legal proof that I dug this well.” 21:31 That is why he named that place Beer Sheba, because the two of them swore an oath there.

Genesis 22:1

The Sacrifice of Isaac

22:1 Some time after these things God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am!” Abraham replied.

22:11 But the Lord’s angel called to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Here I am!” he answered.

29:31 When the Lord saw that Leah was unloved, he enabled her to become pregnant while Rachel remained childless.

30:22 Then God took note of Rachel. He paid attention to her and enabled her to become pregnant.

30:43 In this way Jacob became extremely prosperous. He owned large flocks, male and female servants, camels, and donkeys.

Joseph’s Brothers in Egypt

42:1 When Jacob heard there was grain in Egypt, he said to his sons, “Why are you looking at each other?”
