Ezekiel’s Commission

2:1 He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet and I will speak with you.”

Ezekiel 2:9

2:9 Then I looked and realized a hand was stretched out to me, and in it was a written scroll.

Ezekiel 3:8

3:8 “I have made your face adamant to match their faces, and your forehead hard to match their foreheads.

Ezekiel 18:32

18:32 For I take no delight in the death of anyone, declares the sovereign Lord. Repent and live!

Ezekiel 24:22

24:22 Then you will do as I have done: You will not cover your lip or eat food brought by others.

26:13 I will silence the noise of your songs; the sound of your harps will be heard no more.

31:9 I made it beautiful with its many branches;

all the trees of Eden, in the garden of God, envied it.

32:5 I will put your flesh on the mountains,

and fill the valleys with your maggot-infested carcass.

Ezekiel 32:14

32:14 Then I will make their waters calm,

and will make their streams flow like olive oil, declares the sovereign Lord.

Ezekiel 35:13-14

35:13 You exalted yourselves against me with your speech and hurled many insults against me – I have heard them all! 35:14 This is what the sovereign Lord says: While the whole earth rejoices, I will turn you into a desolation.

Ezekiel 36:7

36:7 So this is what the sovereign Lord says: I vow that the nations around you will endure insults as well.

Ezekiel 36:21

36:21 I was concerned for my holy reputation which the house of Israel profaned among the nations where they went.

Ezekiel 37:3

37:3 He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said to him, “Sovereign Lord, you know.”

Ezekiel 37:27-28

37:27 My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. 37:28 Then, when my sanctuary is among them forever, the nations will know that I, the Lord, sanctify Israel.’”

Ezekiel 39:3

39:3 I will knock your bow out of your left hand and make your arrows fall from your right hand.

Ezekiel 39:22

39:22 Then the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God, from that day forward.
