1:5 David said to the young man who was telling him this, “How do you know that Saul and his son Jonathan are dead?”

2 Samuel 1:12

2:10 Ish-bosheth son of Saul was forty years old when he began to rule over Israel. He ruled two years. However, the people of Judah followed David.

Shimei Curses David and His Men

16:5 Then King David reached Bahurim. There a man from Saul’s extended family named Shimei son of Gera came out, yelling curses as he approached.

21:13 David brought the bones of Saul and of Jonathan his son from there; they also gathered up the bones of those who had been executed.
