2 Kings 8:19

8:19 But the Lord was unwilling to destroy Judah. He preserved Judah for the sake of his servant David to whom he had promised a perpetual dynasty.

8:24 Joram passed away and was buried with his ancestors in the city of David. His son Ahaziah replaced him as king.

15:38 Jotham passed away and was buried with his ancestors in the city of his ancestor David. His son Ahaz replaced him as king.

16:20 Ahaz passed away and was buried with his ancestors in the city of David. His son Hezekiah replaced him as king.

2 Kings 19:34

19:34 I will shield this city and rescue it for the sake of my reputation and because of my promise to David my servant.’”
