4:4 Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation. 1 

Romans 8:6

8:6 For the outlook 2  of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,

1 tn Grk “not according to grace but according to obligation.”

2 tn Or “mindset,” “way of thinking” (twice in this verse and once in v. 7). The Greek term φρόνημα does not refer to one’s mind, but to one’s outlook or mindset.
