The Illustration of Justification

4:1 What then shall we say that Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh, ¹  has discovered regarding this matter? ² 

Romans 8:6

8:6 For the outlook ³  of the flesh is death, but the outlook of the Spirit is life and peace,

Romans 13:14

13:14 Instead, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh to arouse its desires. ⁴
