2 tn Grk “every soul of man.”
3 sn Paul uses the term Greek here and in v. 10 to refer to non-Jews, i.e., Gentiles.
4 tn Grk “by men”; but ἄνθρωπος (anqrwpo") is generic here (“people”) since the contrast in context is between God and humanity.
