Romans 2:3-4

2:3 And do you think, ¹  whoever you are, when you judge ²  those who practice such things and yet do them yourself, ³  that you will escape God’s judgment? 2:4 Or do you have contempt for the wealth of his kindness, forbearance, and patience, and yet do not know ⁴  that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?

Romans 7:18

7:18 For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh. For I want to do the good, but I cannot do it. ⁵ 

Romans 7:20

7:20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer me doing it but sin that lives in me.

Romans 11:18

11:18 do not boast over the branches. But if you boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.

Romans 13:3
