119:15 I will meditate on your precepts

and focus on your behavior.

Psalms 119:117

119:117 Support me, so that I will be delivered.

Then I will focus on your statutes continually.

Psalms 145:5

145:5 I will focus on your honor and majestic splendor,

and your amazing deeds!

tn The cohortative verbal forms in this verse express the psalmist’s resolve.

tn Heb “gaze [at].”

tn Heb “ways” (referring figuratively to God’s behavior here).

tn Or “and that I might focus.” The two cohortatives with vav (ו) conjunctive indicate purpose/result after the imperative at the beginning of the verse.

tn Heb “the splendor of the glory of your majesty, and the matters of your amazing deeds I will ponder.”
