1 sn A petition for deliverance and success seems odd in a psalm thanking God for deliverance, but it is not unique (see Ps 9:19-20). The people ask God to continue to intervene for them as he has for the psalmist.

2 tn Or “is forever.”

3 tn Heb “O Lord, your remembrance [is] for a generation and a generation.” See Ps 102:12.

4 sn Psalm 146. The psalmist urges his audience not to trust in men, but in the Lord, the just king of the world who cares for the needy.
