Nehemiah 9:15

9:15 You provided bread from heaven for them in their time of hunger, and you brought forth water from the rock for them in their time of thirst. You told them to enter in order to possess the land that you had sworn ¹  to give them.

Nehemiah 10:29

10:29 hereby participate with their colleagues the town leaders ²  and enter into a curse and an oath ³  to adhere to ⁴  the law of God which was given through Moses the servant of God, and to obey ⁵  carefully all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, ⁶  along with his ordinances and his statutes.

Nehemiah 13:19

13:19 When the evening shadows ⁷  began to fall on the gates of Jerusalem before the Sabbath, I ordered ⁸  the doors to be closed. I further directed that they were not to be opened until after the Sabbath. I positioned ⁹  some of my young men at the gates so that no load could enter on the Sabbath day.
