Nehemiah 6:18

6:18 For many in Judah had sworn allegiance to him, ¹  because he was the son-in-law of Shecaniah son of Arah. His son Jonathan had married the daughter of Meshullam son of Berechiah.

Nehemiah 7:2

7:2 I then put in charge over Jerusalem ²  my brother Hanani and Hananiah ³  the chief of the citadel, for he was a faithful man and feared God more than many do.

Nehemiah 8:3

8:3 So he read it before the plaza in front of the Water Gate from dawn till noon ⁴  before the men and women and those children who could understand. ⁵  All the people were eager to hear ⁶  the book of the law.
