Nehemiah 2:13

2:13 I proceeded through the Valley Gate by night, in the direction of the Well of the Dragons ¹  and the Dung Gate, ²  inspecting ³  the walls of Jerusalem that had been breached and its gates that had been destroyed by fire.

Nehemiah 9:11

9:11 You split the sea before them, and they crossed through ⁴  the sea on dry ground! But you threw their pursuers ⁵  into the depths, like a stone into surging ⁶  waters.

Nehemiah 9:30

9:30 You prolonged your kindness ⁷  with them for many years, and you solemnly admonished them by your Spirit through your prophets. Still they paid no attention, ⁸  so you delivered them into the hands of the neighboring peoples. ⁹
