Luke 8:17

8:17 For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing concealed that will not be made known and brought to light.

Luke 22:39

On the Mount of Olives

22:39 Then Jesus went out and made his way, as he customarily did, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him.

Luke 22:55

22:55 When they had made a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.

sn Nothing is hidden. Light also exposes, and Jesus was suggesting that his teaching likewise revealed where people are and where they will be. Truth will be manifest in the future, just as it was declared by him then. Nothing will be concealed.

tn Or “disclosed.”

tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “then” to indicate the implied sequence of events within the narrative.

tn Grk “he”; the referent (Jesus) has been specified in the translation for clarity.

tn Grk “went.”

sn See the note on the Mount of Olives in Luke 19:29.
