Luke 23:41

23:41 And we rightly so, for we are getting what we deserve for what we did, but this man has done nothing ¹  wrong.”

Luke 24:29

24:29 but they urged him, ²  “Stay with us, because it is getting toward evening and the day is almost done.” So ³  he went in to stay with them.

¹ sn This man has done nothing wrong is yet another declaration that Jesus was innocent of any crime.

² tn Grk “urged him, saying.” The participle λέγοντες (legontes, “saying”) has not been translated because it is redundant in contemporary English.

³ tn Here καί (kai) has been translated as “so” to indicate the implied result of the disciples’ request.
