9:23 Moses and Aaron then entered into the Meeting Tent. When they came out, they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people.

Leviticus 13:42

13:42 But if there is a reddish white infection in the back or front bald area, it is a disease breaking out in his back or front bald area.

Leviticus 25:38

25:38 I am the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan – to be your God. 5 

Leviticus 25:42

25:42 Since they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt, they must not be sold in a slave sale. 6 

Leviticus 25:55

25:55 because the Israelites are my own servants; 7  they are my servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.

1 tn Heb “and he shall shut up the house seven days.”

2 tn Heb “which I am sending away (Piel participle of שָׁלַח [shalakh, “to send”]) from your faces.” The rendering here takes the participle as anticipatory of the coming conquest events.

3 tn Heb “And.” The Hebrew conjunction ו (vav, “and”) can be considered to have resultative or even inferential force here.

4 tn Heb “and I have visited its [punishment for] iniquity on it.” See the note on Lev 17:16 above.

5 tn Heb “to be to you for a God.”

6 tn Or perhaps reflexive Niphal rather than passive, “they shall not sell themselves [as in] a slave sale.”

7 tn Heb “because to me the sons of Israel are servants.”
