Leviticus 26:5
26:5 Threshing season will extend for you until the season for harvesting grapes, 1 and the season for harvesting grapes will extend until sowing season, so 2 you will eat your bread until you are satisfied, 3 and you will live securely in your land.
Leviticus 19:10
19:10 You must not pick your vineyard bare, 4 and you must not gather up the fallen grapes of your vineyard. You must leave them for the poor and the foreigner. I am the Lord your God.
Leviticus 25:5
25:5 You must not gather in the aftergrowth of your harvest and you must not pick the grapes of your unpruned 5 vines; the land must have a year of complete rest.
1 tn Heb “will reach for you the vintage season.”
2 tn Heb “and.” The Hebrew conjunction ו (vav, “and”) can be considered to have resultative force here.
3 tn Heb “to satisfaction”; KJV, ASV, NASB “to the full.”
4 tn Heb “And you shall not deal severely with your vineyard.”
5 tn Heb “consecrated, devoted, forbidden” (נָזִיר, nazir). The same term is used for the “consecration” of the “Nazirite” (and his hair, Num 6:2, 18, etc.), a designation which, in turn, derives from the very same root.
