Leviticus 17:12

17:12 Therefore, I have said to the Israelites: No person among you is to eat blood, ¹  and no resident foreigner who lives among you is to eat blood. ² 

Leviticus 18:25

18:25 Therefore ³  the land has become unclean and I have brought the punishment for its iniquity upon it, ⁴  so that the land has vomited out its inhabitants.

¹ tn Heb “all/any person from you shall not eat blood.”

² tn Heb “and the sojourner, the one sojourning in your midst, shall not eat blood.”

³ tn Heb “And.” The Hebrew conjunction ו (vav, “and”) can be considered to have resultative or even inferential force here.
