Leviticus 13:7
13:7 If, however, the scab is spreading further 1 on the skin after he has shown himself to the priest for his purification, then he must show himself to the priest a second time.
Leviticus 13:49
13:49 if the infection 2 in the garment or leather or warp or woof or any article of leather is yellowish green or reddish, it is a diseased infection and it must be shown to the priest.
1 tn Heb “And if spreading [infinitive absolute] it spreads [finite verb].” For the infinitive absolute used to highlight contrast rather than emphasis see GKC 343 §113.p.
2 tn Heb “and the infection is.” This clause is conditional in force, and is translated as such by almost all English versions.
