Joshua 9:24

9:24 They said to Joshua, “It was carefully reported to your subjects ¹  how the Lord your God commanded Moses his servant to assign you the whole land and to destroy all who live in the land from before you. Because of you we were terrified ²  we would lose our lives, so we did this thing.

Joshua 23:14-15

23:14 “Look, today I am about to die. ³  You know with all your heart and being ⁴  that not even one of all the faithful promises the Lord your God made to you is left unfulfilled; every one was realized – not one promise is unfulfilled! ⁵  23:15 But in the same way every faithful promise the Lord your God made to you has been realized, ⁶  it is just as certain, if you disobey, that the Lord will bring on you every judgment ⁷  until he destroys you from this good land which the Lord your God gave you.

Joshua 24:7

24:7 Your fathers ⁸  cried out for help to the Lord; he made the area between you and the Egyptians dark, ⁹  and then drowned them in the sea. ¹⁰  You witnessed with your very own eyes ¹¹  what I did in Egypt. You lived in the wilderness for a long time. ¹²
