Joshua 4:8

4:8 The Israelites did just as Joshua commanded. They picked up twelve stones, according to the number of the Israelite tribes, from the middle of the Jordan as the Lord had instructed Joshua. They carried them over with them to the camp and put them there.

Joshua 8:14

8:14 When the king of Ai saw Israel, he and his whole army quickly got up the next day and went out to fight Israel at the meeting place near the Arabah. ¹  But he did not realize ²  men were hiding behind the city. ³ 

Joshua 9:24

9:24 They said to Joshua, “It was carefully reported to your subjects ⁴  how the Lord your God commanded Moses his servant to assign you the whole land and to destroy all who live in the land from before you. Because of you we were terrified ⁵  we would lose our lives, so we did this thing.

10:13 The sun stood still and the moon stood motionless while the nation took vengeance on its enemies. The event is recorded in the Scroll of the Upright One. ⁶  The sun stood motionless in the middle of the sky and did not set for about a full day. ⁷ 

Joshua 10:39

10:39 They ⁸  captured it, its king, and all its surrounding cities and put the sword to them. They annihilated everyone who lived there; they ⁹  left no survivors. They ¹⁰  did to Debir and its king what they ¹¹  had done to Libnah and its king and to Hebron. ¹² 

Joshua 24:7

24:7 Your fathers ¹³  cried out for help to the Lord; he made the area between you and the Egyptians dark, ¹⁴  and then drowned them in the sea. ¹⁵  You witnessed with your very own eyes ¹⁶  what I did in Egypt. You lived in the wilderness for a long time. ¹⁷
