4:10 Now the priests carrying the ark of the covenant were standing in the middle of the Jordan until everything the Lord had commanded Joshua to tell the people was accomplished, in accordance with all that Moses had commanded Joshua. The people went across quickly,

Joshua 8:14

8:14 When the king of Ai saw Israel, he and his whole army quickly got up the next day and went out to fight Israel at the meeting place near the Arabah. 1  But he did not realize 2  men were hiding behind the city. 3 

Joshua 23:16

23:16 If you violate the covenantal laws of the Lord your God which he commanded you to keep, 4  and follow, worship, and bow down to other gods, 5  the Lord will be very angry with you and you will disappear 6  quickly from the good land which he gave to you.”
