Joshua 14:12

14:12 Now, assign me this hill country which the Lord promised me at that time! No doubt you heard at that time that the Anakites live there in large, fortified cities. 10  But, assuming the Lord is with me, I will conquer 11  them, as the Lord promised.”

Joshua 22:27

22:27 but as a reminder to us and you, 12  and to our descendants who follow us, that we will honor the Lord in his very presence 13  with burnt offerings, sacrifices, and tokens of peace. 14  Then in the future your descendants will not be able to say to our descendants, ‘You have no right to worship the Lord.’ 15

Joshua 23:13

23:13 know for certain that the Lord our God will no longer drive out these nations from before you. They will trap and ensnare you; 16  they will be a whip that tears 17  your sides and thorns that blind 18  your eyes until you disappear 19  from this good land the Lord your God gave you.

Joshua 24:15

24:15 If you have no desire 20  to worship 21  the Lord, choose today whom you will worship, 22  whether it be the gods whom your ancestors 23  worshiped 24  beyond the Euphrates, 25  or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. But I and my family 26  will worship 27  the Lord!”
