3:13 When the feet 1  of the priests carrying the ark of the Lord, the Ruler 2  of the whole earth, touch 3  the water of the Jordan, the water coming downstream toward you will stop flowing and pile up.” 4 

Joshua 8:24

8:24 When Israel had finished killing all the men 5  of Ai who had chased them toward the desert 6  (they all fell by the sword), 7  all Israel returned to Ai and put the sword to it.

Joshua 19:27

19:27 It turned eastward toward Beth Dagon, touched Zebulun and the Valley of Iphtah El to the north, as well as the Valley of Emek and Neiel, and extended to Cabul on the north 8

7 tc Heb “and all of them fell by the edge of the sword until they were destroyed.” The LXX omits the words, “and all of them fell by the edge of the sword.” They may represent a later scribal addition.
