2:17 The men said to her, “We are not bound by this oath you made us swear unless the following conditions are met:

2:20 If you should report what we’ve been up to, we are not bound by this oath you made us swear.”

Joshua 6:11

6:11 So Joshua made sure they marched the ark of the Lord around the city one time. Then they went back to the camp and spent the night there.

Joshua 9:15-16

9:15 Joshua made a peace treaty with them and agreed to let them live. The leaders of the community sealed it with an oath.
