Joshua 1:5

1:5 No one will be able to resist you ¹  all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not abandon you or leave you alone.

Israel Crosses the Jordan

3:1 Bright and early the next morning Joshua and the Israelites left Shittim and came to the Jordan. ⁶  They camped there before crossing the river. ⁷

12:1 Now these are the kings of the land whom the Israelites defeated and drove from their land ¹⁴  on the east side of the Jordan, ¹⁵  from the Arnon Valley to Mount Hermon, including all the eastern Arabah:

12:5 and ruled over Mount Hermon, Salecah, all of Bashan to the border of the Geshurites and Maacathites, and half of Gilead as far as the border of King Sihon of Heshbon.

Joshua 21:43

21:43 So the Lord gave Israel all the land he had solemnly promised to their ancestors, ¹⁶  and they conquered ¹⁷  it and lived in it.

Joshua 23:4

23:4 See, I have parceled out to your tribes these remaining nations, ¹⁸  from the Jordan to the Mediterranean Sea ¹⁹  in the west, including all the nations I defeated. ²⁰

² tn Heb “has given the land to you.” Rahab’s statement uses the Hebrew perfect, suggesting certitude.
