Jeremiah 5:24

5:24 They do not say to themselves, 1 

“Let us revere the Lord our God.

It is he who gives us the autumn rains and the spring rains at the proper time.

It is he who assures us of the regular weeks of harvest.” 2 

Jeremiah 35:11

35:11 But when King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon invaded the land we said, ‘Let’s get up and go to Jerusalem 3  to get away from the Babylonian 4  and Aramean armies.’ That is why we are staying here in Jerusalem.”
