Judges 9:54

9:54 He quickly called to the young man who carried his weapons, ¹  “Draw your sword and kill me, so they will not say, ²  ‘A woman killed him.’” So the young man stabbed him and he died.

Judges 16:25

16:25 When they really started celebrating, ³  they said, “Call for Samson so he can entertain us!” So they summoned Samson from the prison and he entertained them. ⁴  They made him stand between two pillars.

Judges 19:8

19:8 He woke up early in the morning on the fifth day so he could leave, but the girl’s father said, “Get some energy. ⁵  Wait until later in the day to leave!” ⁶  So they ate a meal together.

Judges 21:8

21:8 So they asked, “Who from all the Israelite tribes did not assemble before the Lord at Mizpah?” Now it just so happened no one from Jabesh Gilead had come to the gathering. ⁷
