Judges 5:31

5:31 May all your enemies perish like this, O Lord!

But may those who love you shine

like the rising sun at its brightest!” ¹ 

And the land had rest for forty years.

Judges 6:27

6:27 So Gideon took ten of his servants ²  and did just as the Lord had told him. He was too afraid of his father’s family ³  and the men of the city to do it in broad daylight, so he waited until nighttime. ⁴
