Judges 3:8

3:8 The Lord was furious with Israel and turned them over to King Cushan-Rishathaim of Aram-Naharaim. They were Cushan-Rishathaim’s subjects for eight years.

Judges 3:10

3:10 The Lord’s spirit empowered him and he led Israel. When he went to do battle, the Lord handed over to him King Cushan-Rishathaim of Aram and he overpowered him.

3:12 The Israelites again did evil in the Lord’s sight. The Lord gave King Eglon of Moab control over Israel because they had done evil in the Lord’s sight.

Judges 3:19

3:19 But he went back once he reached 10  the carved images 11  at Gilgal. He said to Eglon, 12  “I have a secret message for you, O king.” Eglon 13  said, “Be quiet!” 14  All his attendants left.

4:17 Now Sisera ran away on foot to the tent of Jael, wife of Heber the Kenite, for King Jabin of Hazor 15  and the family of Heber the Kenite had made a peace treaty. 16

8:18 He said to Zebah and Zalmunna, “Describe for me 17  the men you killed at Tabor.” They said, “They were like you. Each one looked like a king’s son.” 18 

Judges 9:15-16

9:15 The thornbush said to the trees, ‘If you really want to choose 19  me as your king, then come along, find safety under my branches! 20  Otherwise 21  may fire blaze from the thornbush and consume the cedars of Lebanon!’

9:16 “Now, if you have shown loyalty and integrity when you made Abimelech king, if you have done right to Jerub-Baal and his family, 22  if you have properly repaid him 23

19:1 In those days Israel had no king. There was a Levite 24  living temporarily in the remote region of the Ephraimite hill country. He acquired a concubine 25  from Bethlehem 26  in Judah.
