The End of an Era

2:6 When Joshua dismissed ¹  the people, the Israelites went to their allotted portions of territory, ²  intending to take possession of the land.

Judges 11:20

11:20 But Sihon did not trust Israel to pass through his territory. He ³  assembled his whole army, ⁴  camped in Jahaz, and fought with Israel.

Judges 20:4

20:4 The Levite, ⁵  the husband of the murdered woman, spoke up, “I and my concubine stopped in ⁶  Gibeah in the territory of Benjamin ⁷  to spend the night.
