Judges 2:12

2:12 They abandoned the Lord God of their ancestors ¹  who brought them out of the land of Egypt. They followed other gods – the gods of the nations who lived around them. They worshiped ²  them and made the Lord angry.

Judges 4:17

4:17 Now Sisera ran away on foot to the tent of Jael, wife of Heber the Kenite, for King Jabin of Hazor ³  and the family of Heber the Kenite had made a peace treaty. ⁴

Judges 11:35-36

11:35 When he saw her, he ripped his clothes and said, “Oh no! My daughter! You have completely ruined me! ⁸  You have brought me disaster! ⁹  I made an oath to the Lord, and I cannot break it.” ¹⁰  11:36 She said to him, “My father, since ¹¹  you made an oath to the Lord, do to me as you promised. ¹²  After all, the Lord vindicated you before ¹³  your enemies, the Ammonites.”

Judges 16:25

16:25 When they really started celebrating, ¹⁴  they said, “Call for Samson so he can entertain us!” So they summoned Samson from the prison and he entertained them. ¹⁵  They made him stand between two pillars.

Judges 17:4

17:4 When he gave the silver back to his mother, she ¹⁶  took two hundred pieces of silver ¹⁷  to a silversmith, who made them into a carved image and a metal image. She then put them in Micah’s house. ¹⁸ 

Judges 17:8

17:8 This man left the town of Bethlehem in Judah to find another place to live. He came to the Ephraimite hill country and made his way to Micah’s house. ¹⁹ 

Judges 18:24

18:24 He said, “You stole my gods that I made, as well as this priest, and then went away. What do I have left? How can you have the audacity to say to me, ‘What do you want?’” ²⁰ 

Judges 18:27

18:27 Now the Danites ²¹  took what Micah had made, as well as his priest, and came to Laish, where the people were undisturbed and unsuspecting. They struck them down with the sword and burned the city. ²² 

Judges 19:25

19:25 The men refused to listen to him, so the Levite ²³  grabbed his concubine and made her go outside. ²⁴  They raped ²⁵  her and abused her all night long until morning. They let her go at dawn.

Judges 20:34

20:34 Ten thousand men, well-trained soldiers from all Israel, then made a frontal assault against Gibeah – the battle was fierce. ²⁶  But the Benjaminites did not realize that disaster was at their doorstep. ²⁷ 

Judges 21:5

21:5 The Israelites asked, “Who from all the Israelite tribes has not assembled before the Lord?” They had made a solemn oath that whoever did not assemble before the Lord at Mizpah must certainly be executed. ²⁸
