Judges 2:12

2:12 They abandoned the Lord God of their ancestors ¹  who brought them out of the land of Egypt. They followed other gods – the gods of the nations who lived around them. They worshiped ²  them and made the Lord angry.

Judges 2:14

2:14 The Lord was furious with Israel ³  and handed them over to robbers who plundered them. ⁴  He turned them over to ⁵  their enemies who lived around them. They could not withstand their enemies’ attacks. ⁶ 

Judges 15:14

15:14 When he arrived in Lehi, the Philistines shouted as they approached him. But the Lord’s spirit empowered ⁷  him. The ropes around his arms were like flax dissolving in ⁸  fire, and they ⁹  melted away from his hands.

Judges 20:40

20:40 But when the signal, a pillar of smoke, began to rise up from the city, the Benjaminites turned around and saw the whole city going up in a cloud of smoke that rose high into the sky. ¹⁰
