Judges 2:10

2:10 That entire generation passed away; a new generation grew up that had not personally experienced the Lord’s presence or seen what he had done for Israel.

Judges 6:29

6:29 They said to one another, “Who did this?” They investigated the matter thoroughly and concluded that Gideon son of Joash had done it.

Judges 8:35

8:35 They did not treat the family of Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) fairly in return for all the good he had done for Israel.

tn Heb “and said.” Perhaps the plural subject is indefinite. If so, it could be translated, “they were told.”
