44:26 who fulfills the oracles of his prophetic servants 2
and brings to pass the announcements 3 of his messengers,
who says about Jerusalem, 4 ‘She will be inhabited,’
and about the towns of Judah, ‘They will be rebuilt,
her ruins I will raise up,’
56:6 As for foreigners who become followers of 5 the Lord and serve him,
who love the name of the Lord and want to be his servants –
all who observe the Sabbath and do not defile it,
and who are faithful to 6 my covenant –
65:8 This is what the Lord says:
“When 7 juice is discovered in a cluster of grapes,
someone says, ‘Don’t destroy it, for it contains juice.’ 8
So I will do for the sake of my servants –
I will not destroy everyone. 9

3 tn Heb “counsel.” The Hebrew term עֵצָה (’etsah) probably refers here to the divine plan as announced by the prophets. See HALOT 867 s.v. I עֵצָה.
