19:4 The nations heard about him; he was trapped in their pit.

Ezekiel 23:3

23:3 They engaged in prostitution in Egypt; in their youth they engaged in prostitution. Their breasts were squeezed there; lovers ²  fondled their virgin nipples there.

Ezekiel 23:8

23:8 She did not abandon the prostitution she had practiced in Egypt; for in her youth men had sex with her, fondled her virgin breasts, and ravished her. ³

23:19 Yet she increased her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth when she engaged in prostitution in the land of Egypt.

Ezekiel 29:6

29:6 Then all those living in Egypt will know that I am the Lord

because they were a reed staff ⁴  for the house of Israel;

29:13 “‘For this is what the sovereign Lord says: At the end of forty years ⁵  I will gather Egypt from the peoples where they were scattered.

Ezekiel 29:20

29:20 I have given him the land of Egypt as his compensation for attacking Tyre ⁶ , because they did it for me, declares the sovereign Lord.

Ezekiel 30:8

30:8 They will know that I am the Lord

when I ignite a fire in Egypt

Thebes will be broken down,
